Modern People Solutions (Canadian based company) is a matchmaker, connecting businesses with the right employees and effective HR solutions. Our core industries include agriculture, construction, heavy equipment dealerships and professional practices (ex. health care practices and law firms). We started in February of 2022, grew rapidly and we’ve made some great achievements in a short time (collaborative events with some of the largest banks in Canada and working with companies that represent world leading brands). The Founder and Principal Consultant has worked with publicly traded companies (TSX and Nasdaq), global companies, start-ups, mid-market businesses and small businesses.

· Talent Acquisition (hiring quality candidates for employers locally, Virtual Assistants, strategies for attracting candidates and designing selection processes)

· HR Training (we’ve designed workshops that have been approved for continuing education for doctors and the Founder is a casual instructor for HR and Management courses at the second highest ranked business school in Canada, according to CEO World’s magazine)

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an amazing Virtual HR Assistant to join our team (hired as a contractor, full time). We want someone with a charming personality, high emotional intelligence, solutions oriented and creative (if you’ve ever watched the show Suits, we are looking for a “Donna”, whether that’s a male or female version). You must have your own laptop, cell phone (for Ring Central) and stable internet access and work based on the MST (Alberta, Canada) zone of 8am to 5pm (which is 11pm to 7am the next day in the Philippines).
What does the day to day look like?
- General administrative support for the Founder of Modern People Solutions (drafting agreements using a standard template, creating project folders for new clients, sending new client onboarding forms, scheduling meetings, answering calls/e-mails, etc.)
- HR support (creating unique job postings for new jobs are we hiring for on behalf of clients, sourcing candidates for junior positions as needed, scheduling interviews, creating visuals in Canva for social media use, sponsoring jobs, administrative HR tasks for our clients or internally)
- Researching software that the company can utilize for ourselves or clients (HR Software with partner programs, innovating HR Technology, a Customer Relationship Management system, etc.)
- Event support and coordination (ex. finding venues, obtaining quotes, answering inquiries about upcoming events, entering leads into a CRM and inviting people to the events)
- Creating social media posts, event e-flyers, client presentations and more!
- Assisting the Founder with hiring and/or managing Virtual Assistants for clients as this part of the business grows
What are we looking for?
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR, Administration or Marketing required
- Personality is key, someone who is charming, has creative ideas, can find solutions themselves and is driven
- Detail oriented with great written english and experience with drafting agreements using a template is a must have
- Familiarity setting up new software programs or having used various software programs and you would consider yourself as Tech savvy would be an asset
- Experience with creating unique and visually appealing social media posts and job postings is required
- Adaptable, as the business is evolving quickly and we need someone who is flexible
What’s in it for you?
- ₱30,000 to ₱40,000, based on experience, with the potential to earn more over time based on performance
