Our client has a great opportunity for an exceptional Service Manager, based in British Columbia (exact location will be disclosed further in the interview process) to manage a Truck dealership. Our client is an industry leader that has grown over the years with a competitive compensation package, a base salary of $110,000 to $130,000, plus bonus, benefits and more!

What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?

  • Manage the daily operations of the service department, overseeing the Service Advisors and Technicians
  • Lead, mentor, and support your team to achieve departmental goals and provide outstanding service
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (e.g., technician efficiency) to monitor shop productivity
  • Address customer concerns with professionalism and ensure timely resolution
  • Review and authorize quotes, work orders, and final invoices
  • Assist in hiring and training service team members
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and collaborative workplace

What are we looking for?

  • An experienced Service Managers with at least 5+ years of experience managing a large shop
  • Truck dealership experience would be preferred, but candidates with automotive or equipment dealership experience will also be considered
  • Strong leadership skills
  • An understanding of profit and loss statements, managing a budget and key performance indicators of a service department
